Grab the rails of your board and feel the rush of adrenalin as you ride the waves to the shoreline. The shore breaks of Anglesey are ideal for bodyboarding, and Anglesey Adventures have experienced instructors who will take you to the very best beaches for the sport.

A more accessible option to wave-riding than surfing, bodyboarding uses smaller, lighter and more manoeuvrable boards that you can learn to carve down the wave face in just one session. Because you don’t have to pop to your feet you can take off later and handle more intense drops, and being on your belly you are closer to the wave, which gives you more of a sense of speed.

Grab a board and get the adrenalin pumping. Anglesey Adventures can provide wetsuits, boards and all equipment needed for bodyboarding.

We offer mountain scrambling adventures for all abilities! Our personalised approach allows us to customize the experience to best suit your individual goals and needs. Your guides extensive training and years of experience will allow him or her to best provide you with the experience you are looking for while providing you these services at the highest professional standards in the industry.

While much of the enjoyment of scrambling depends on the freedom from technical equipment, unroped scrambling in exposed situations is potentially one of the most dangerous of mountaineering activities. For this reason most guidebooks advise carrying a rope, especially on harder scrambles, which may be used for security on exposed sections, to assist less confident members of the party, or to facilitate retreat in case of difficulty. Above all, scramblers are advised to know their limits and to turn back before they get into difficulties.

We offer Mountain Scrambling Adventures and Skill Based Courses for all abilities! Our personalised approach allows us to customize the experience to best suit your individual goals and needs. Your guides extensive training and years of experience will allow him or her to best provide you with the experience you are looking for while providing you these services at the highest professional standards in the industry.

Many climbers’ activities take them onto more remote and serious crags in the mountains or on the sea cliffs. Whilst these areas provide challenging experiences, it does require climbing teams to be self sufficient as help may be far away, or even impossible to contact. In such situations being able to cope with an injured partner or escape from a multi pitch route in bad weather can be vital skills. So if you are climbing, whether it is in summer, winter or out in the Alps, you owe it to yourself and your partner to develop some self rescue skills.

If the whole subject of self rescue is new to you, then this short course will give you a no nonsense practical approach to the subject. After a review of basic safety systems, such as belaying and rope systems, we will cover self rescue techniques such as prussiking, escaping from the system and retreating from a crag. Some simple hoist systems will also be covered. In addition to equipping you with these skills we will also look at developing strategies for dealing with crag problems.
